Delivering Fresh Cut Sod to Vancouver, WA and Portland, Oregon

For over 25 years we have been growing sod and servicing retail & commercial customers from Castle Rock, Washington to Oregon City, Oregon-including the greater Vancouver and Portland Metro Area. We have 80 acres of sod farm and 8 acres of nursery and green houses to bring you a great selection of plants, trees, Hasta, dwarf conifers and ornamental grasses.

Their passion for landscaping plants and sod farming grew from their first retail nursery in Fairview, Oregon according to Don and Lynette Schmidt. In 1986 they began their sod farm and nursery in Woodland, WA. They became well known for friendly service, high quality premium sod at farm direct pricing.

Far West Turf Farm serves both the retail market of home owners and the wholesale market of landscape contractors.

Far West Turf Farm is a family-owned and operated business that has been serving the Greater Vancouver and Portland Metro areas for over 25 years. Our sod is grown with great care and attention here at our farm in SW Washington.
