Acer palmatum 'Demi-Sec'
Spring color of this maple is green with a faint orange
Common Name: Acer palmatum var. dissectum, Acer palmatum 'Dissectum', Dissected Japanese Maple, Threadleaf Japanese Maple, Demi Sec Japanese Maple
Green Laceleaf Japanese Maples are often used where fine texture is needed in a landscape. The branches tend to flow and arch over themselves like a water fountain with its semi-weeping habit. 'Dissectum' has more gently arching pendulous branches than most other weeping varieties. In hot climates, the leaves are prone to scorch in full sun so some afternoon shade may be needed to keep this plant looking its best all year.
