This is an especially nice selection of barberry with rose-pink new foliage mottled with deeper red-purple and sometimes lighter blotches. Graceful branching makes a wonderful hedge, barrier planting or single accent. Fall brings orange red color. Bright red berries in fall and winter. Attractive hedging plant, good refuge for birds and small wildlife. Thorny stems. When planted in shadier locations leaf color is light rose-pink with white blotches. Tolerates dry soil.
