Cercis canadensis
Best known for it's pink pea-like flowers.
Common Name: North American Redbud
Very appealing pale rose, pea-shaped flowers, bloom in abundance in early spring on what appear to be lifeless twigs. Then the delightfully rounded, heart-shaped leaves cover this beautiful tree through the summer. Redbud has a yellow fall color and is shade tolerant.
